Our Story
Felicia Suzanne Willett-Schuchardt, Executive Chef & Owner of Felicia Suzanne's, brings a rich culinary legacy to vibrant South Main with the relocation of her acclaimed restaurant. After 20 successful years in her original location, Felicia and her husband, Clay Schuchardt, are thrilled to move the restaurant to the South Main neighborhood, a place they proudly call home.
A graduate of Johnson & Wales University in Charleston, South Carolina, Felicia honed her culinary skills under the legendary Chef Emeril Lagasse during an eight-year tenure in New Orleans. Her cuisine is a celebration of sustainable, seasonal ingredients with touches of family favorites.
Felicia’s commitment to sustainability and seasonality is at the heart of her cooking, emphasizing ingredients and dishes inspired by the places she has lived and loved.
Clay Schuchardt, originally from Jonesboro, Arkansas, began working with Felicia at the restaurant in 2017. With the move to South Main, Clay is stepping into a full-time role, continuing to grow their shared culinary vision.
The couple, who married in 2019, live in the South Main area and are often seen walking their dog, Loula Belle, or cheering on their favorite sports teams—the Arkansas Razorbacks, Memphis Grizzlies, and 901 FC. They are also the proud parents of twin daughters attending the University of Alabama.
While Felicia has earned numerous culinary awards over the years, she is most proud of her philanthropic work with Make-A-Wish, St. Jude, and Le Bonheur, using her platform to support causes close to her heart. In addition to the main restaurant, soon Felicia and Clay will be opening Flo’s next door, offering a more casual spot with grab-and-go options.
Felicia Suzanne’s is not just a restaurant—it’s a tribute to sustainable cuisine, family traditions, and the vibrant flavors of the South. Welcome to a new chapter in Memphis dining on historic South Main Street.
